How it works

    Send it in

    Pack your card up safely and post it to the Gremlin's lair. We'll tell you exactly how.

  2. 2

    The Gremlin inspects

    Shine, smell, corners and vibes all get a score, plus a few words from the Gremlin itself.

  3. 3

    It comes home graded

    Your card comes back with its Gremlin Grade and a registry code anyone can look up.

The Gremlin Scale

Every card gets a grade from 1 to 10. Ten means the Gremlin is reluctant to give it back. One means… well. It was a tasty card.

  1. 10Hoard-Worthy Flawless. The Gremlin has refused to give it back. Twice.
  2. 9Shiny Shiny Near perfect. Mild drooling occurred during inspection.
  3. 8Pristine-ish A lovely card. There is one tiny thing the Gremlin will not stop pointing at.
  4. 7Pocket Champion Clearly loved, carefully kept. A proper keeper.
  5. 6Gremlin Approved Solid all round. Would hoard.
  6. 5Sniffed Twice Right in the middle of the pile. Smells faintly of booster pack.
  7. 4Well Travelled Has seen some kitchen tables. Has stories to tell.
  8. 3Sofa Survivor Found down the back of something. Still standing.
  9. 2Chewed Corner Club The Gremlin may have had a nibble. Sorry about that.
  10. 1Gremlin Snack Mostly eaten. Spiritually priceless.
