Gremlin Grades are for fun

Our grades, subgrades and notes are a novelty. They are not a professional grade, an authentication or a valuation. They aren't recognised by grading companies, marketplaces or insurers, and we don't promise anything about a card's condition, authenticity or worth. We're not affiliated with any grading company or card publisher.

Sending cards for grading

• You pay when you book. Prices are shown before you pay and include the return postage you choose.
• Pack your cards as described on the grading page and send them tracked. Cards are your responsibility until they reach us.
• We handle every card carefully, in sleeves. We don't open, clean, press or alter cards.
• If something arrives that doesn't match your order (an extra card, a missing one, a card already in a slab), we'll email you before doing anything.
• We post cards back using the service you chose. If a parcel is lost or damaged in the post, we'll help you claim from the carrier, and our liability is limited to that carrier's compensation for the service you chose. For valuable cards, choose Special Delivery.

Cancelling a grading

You can cancel any time before we receive your cards for a full refund. Once your cards have arrived and grading has started, you can still cancel, and we'll refund you for any cards we haven't graded yet and post everything back. Once all your cards are graded, the service is complete and can't be cancelled.

Buying from the store

• Store cards are sold as shown in their photos and registry page, each at the price shown plus postage.
• We hold a card for you for 35 minutes while you pay. If payment doesn't go through, it goes back on sale.
• You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your card, for any reason. Email us, then post the card back within 14 days. We'll refund the card and the original postage within 14 days of getting it back. Return postage is yours to pay.
• If something's wrong with your card, tell us and we'll put it right, including refunding any return postage.

Your registry pages

Every graded card gets a page in the Gremlin Registry with its photos and report. Anyone with the card's code or link can view it. The registry isn't listed or searchable, and your name is never shown on it.
